Guess Where We Are Moving...

Yep! The Montgomery's are moving to Berlin Germany! Dh was relocated to Berlin to work for Nokia. He currently works for Nokia here in Atlanta! This was a choice we had and we took it after much thought and prayer! We are all very excited and nervous but what an amazing opportunity! I'm also excited to get blogging again.

Contentment Ann's it's Finest

I am back from a long blogging break. Life has just been that busy. All is well in the Montgomery house. The kids are growing and life is...well...
There is someone I want you to meet. Her name is Ann and she is a dear friend of mine who I have known for a about a year and half. She is one of the most amazing women I know. I get so choked up when talking about her because she is a special friend. I feel like I have known her all of my life.
Our paths crossed through Zumba! We are very passionate about Zumba, kids, marriage God, and true relationships. I'm beyond blessed to have her in my life.
If you ever get the chance to see her dance then you have had a real treat. She dances with spunk, and has a little something-something running through that blood. She was one of the few instructors who made me want to be the best I could be at Zumba. This girl is simply amazing and everything and everyone she comes into contact with turns to gold!
Over the past year I have gotten to know her more and I mean I have learned so much from her. She has a calming effect that I just can't explain. I've learned when not to freak out over the kids, body issues, gossip, insecurities...etc.
Here's where it's all good in my neighborhood of life! We have had many conversations about various things and I always leave feeling more at peace with what was discussed. I can't tell you how many times she has talked me off a ledge of "going-off", crying because of marriage issues, god-talk, friends, and just when I'm having a day of "bull-shit" and I just want to walk away. I am not even aware if she knows the impact that she has had on me and others.
She is an awesome mom. I see her with her boys and I am in awe! They are very respectful boys who just adore her to no end. When she is talking to them it's with love but they know she means business!
A business woman she is. Whenever there are Zumba events, if she has had her hands in it it's flawless and always for a good cause. Ann does a lot of charity events for people who have had unfortunate things happen in their lives. It's funny...she does these events to help other but just by her presence and her heart for others they are already fortunate. I love that she loves helping people. It's nice to see that people genuinely care about others and "do" more than just think about helping.

As I mentioned before she is a family girl. She can say no when necessary because she cherishes her family time. I am all about family time but I have a hard time saying to outings. Recently we were over visiting her and her family. Her house is a home not house. It's warm and inviting and says "Ann" all over it. I watched her husband as he watched her. At first I thought he was admiring some of the shiny cars outside. Then I realized it was "her". He looked at this red headed girl as though she was his next breath! It showed me that not only does he love her but he is in love with her and there is a difference. True love looks at you as it's the first time it has seen you. They have true love.
I am learning through her to say no and be content. Contentment is the reason for this post. Ann is very content no matter what. I don't hear much complaining, competing, or just wanting more just because. It's very refreshing to know that you can be content. To posses this quality is truly a blessing.

Her friendship has not only enriched my life but it has given me the desire to be content and to love no matter what. I know things are not always perfect for her but it's clear that the good outweighs the bad any day....even on a bad day she is "good at heart". And that my blog friends is something that I am striving for!

The Sweet Life...

I could live at the beach. I just love the air, the peace, and the water! God is awesome. There is no other way that something so endless could have evolved! I think that i want to just live there. I really could adjust to the wonderful weather, flip flops, lite eating, and just the sound of the waves. We have gone to St. George Island every year for the past 3 years and I think that is just our spot! My kids can even tell as we are in the car where we are going. Here is what happened this year!
I had this whole trip planned even with the threat of the oil spill. I always have a back up plan so that was ok if the plan changed. We packed the car after the kids were dropped off at school. I went out with my girlfriends that morning to have our end of the school year luncheon and spa day! See that's what i am saying...I have the sweet life! After I was all done I came home and decorated our car. Dh was just as excited as I was. I just love surprising people..it brings me happiness.
We got in the carpool line at school and waved at people as they laughed because they knew what was going on. We pull around after they called their names. The kids knew it was their last day but they did not know why(we ended the year early)! When they read the car they squealed like pigs and jumped with Joy.."It's Beach Time"
I am grateful to my dh for making this possible every year! I can't complain....lovin The Sweet Life Of The Suburbs!

Twilight Addiction

Yes, I am proud to say that I am a twilight fan! I can't wait for the triple feature on June 28th! I loved all of the movies and the cast is just fantastic. I got into the Twilight Saga by being bored one night and a friend asking me to go to a movie. I agreed and I was hooked. All the girls from my scrapbook group are also addicts also. They actually gave me that fantastic bday party this year in the Twilight theme. I love those girls!. I have read the books but I think that it's time to read them again. The thought of a premier party just popped into my head!..I know my hubby is just shaking his head but I am just so much fun(at least I think I am)!
